Book-Bugs is an online children’s book library, delivering books right to your doorstep. Our collection includes top national and international children’s books, along with titles that are hard to find or expensive in India. We also feature classic authors and beloved children’s series.

As a home delivery reading library, we aim to make the reading experience hassle-free, affordable, and enjoyable for both parent and child. Just become a Book-Bugs member, select books from our online catalogue, and we’ll deliver them to your doorstep.
3. What are the benefits of becoming a Book-Bugs member? How is it different from others?
Book-Bugs makes reading fun, easy, and affordable! Get access to a wide range of children’s books — from popular series to regional language titles in Hindi and Gujarati. Enjoy doorstep delivery and pickup, flexible rental plans, and personalized book choices based on your child’s interests. Plus, every plan comes with bonus audio stories or live workshops. 4. How do I search for a book on the website?
Use the comprehensive search bar at the top of most pages. You can also explore categories and use filters for a simpler, more intuitive search experience.
5. What is the holding period of the books?
Every subscription allows you to hold the books for a month, however if you want to continue keeping the book/books with you for the next month you can click on ‘continue’ on the website. Else there will be a nominal fine of ₹10 per day for the set.
6. Is my registration valid for all my life?
The Registration is valid as long as we have your security deposit with us. Even if you decide to take a break, you can resume whenever you want to. However, if you withdraw your security deposit, you’re liable to pay the registration again.
7. When and how will I get my security deposit back?
You need to mail us informing that you want to withdraw your security deposit.
8. How can I change from one plan to another plan?
Changing of one plan to another plan in between is not possible, only when the current plan ends, you can take another plan.
9. Do I need to make an account to subscribe?
Yes, you need to make an account to subscribe.
10. Is there any charges applicable for delivering the books to my home? Is there a fix date every month for the delivery?
Delivery of the books at your doorstep is absolutely free. However, if you miss to receive the books or giving back the books you have on a predetermined date, then delivering of these books again can be arranged at a nominal rate. Yes, there will be a fixed date every month for the delivery, which will be informed to you after subscribing to the plan.
11. How do I notify you when I want to return books?
You can easily request a return anytime from your account:
- Go to Manage My Rental in your account.
- Open the Returns tab.
- Select the books you’d like to return and submit the request.

12. What is the purpose of a wish list?
The purpose of a wish list is that you keep adding the books here which you want to read later and then, when you don’t have enough time to scroll through our entire collection, you can straightaway add books from your wish list.
13. Can we gift a Book-Bugs plan to someone?
Yes, Book-Bugs plan/subscription can be gifted.
14. When will I receive the books after subscribing a plan?
When you subscribe any plan, after we receive the money, on first (pre-decided) delivery date OR within seven days, you will receive the books.
15. What is the process of renewal of the plan?
For the renewal of the plan, you will be getting a mail and WhatsApp with a link before your plan is getting over.
16. What if I get a damaged book? Or book is damaged at my place?
We ensure that no damaged or torn books are sent from our end.
As parents, it’s important to teach kids to care for books:
- Babies – No chewing, no reading during meals.
- Toddlers – No tearing, no throwing.
- Older kids – No scribbling, no hitting with books.
If damage occurs at your place, the cost will be deducted from your security deposit.
