AMAR CHITRA KATHA: Garuda

This comic tells the mythological story of Garuda, the powerful eagle-headed creature, and his journey to free his mother from slavery. Born to sage Kashyapa and Vinata, Garuda’s strength and devotion are tested when he embarks on a quest to retrieve the Amrit (nectar of immortality) to release his mother from the clutches of his aunt. His journey not only challenges the gods but also leads to Garuda becoming the divine mount of Lord Vishnu.
