Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules (Book 2)

The story picks up with Greg detailing his less-than-ideal summer vacation, overshadowed by his older brother, Rodrick, who knows a humiliating secret about Greg. As the school year begins, Greg is eager to keep this secret under wraps. Their mother, Susan, initiates a “Mom Bucks” program to encourage the brothers to bond, but it leads to unintended consequences. Rodrick seizes an opportunity to throw a party while their parents are away, dragging Greg into the ensuing chaos. The aftermath tests their sibling relationship, especially when Rodrick’s band, Löded Diper, prepares for a talent show that doesn’t go as planned.
